I was born and raised in Beaverton, Oregon and began visiting Central Oregon when my sons were still in diapers ( they are now grown and have kids of their own ). I immediately fell in love with the people and the geography of this area.
My husband, Kent (Concept Welding) and I purchased our first 5 acre lot at 3 Rivers in the spring of 1994. It was so much fun developing our "vacation - weekend getaway". We realized in 2003, with the new technology in solar power, that we could conduct full time businesses on "The Plateau" and make a living. We started the construction of our "dream home" and moved "Mumsie" (Meg's mom), the dogs, cat and ourselves to 3 Rivers that year.

I obtained my first real estate license in 1997, where I worked with Roger in Newberg, OR. On June 12, 2012 I joined Roger again, as part of CopperGold Real Estate. I have also worked as an interior designer for Ethan Allen for over 40 years and continue my affiliation with them, along with a number of other vendors. That design expertise is a perfect marriage with real estate, because both have to do with what people want in the space they live in.
I also participate and give back to the community through my service as a volunteer wild land fire fighter on the Lake Chinook Fire Dept. and as a certified EMR. I have been an active Rotarian for over 20 yrs and now serve as the Foundation Chair with Rotary Club of Jefferson County. Kent & I help out at the Holiday Bingo nights in 3 R's by flipping burgers & dogs. I also served on the Mt.View Hospital Foundation Board.
In my spare time, I enjoy hiking, biking, cross country skiing, quad riding and cooking & entertaining. I also have a home gym where I work out every morning at 6 ....if you are looking for a work-out partner and motivator..... come & join me !
